Notice is hereby given that the Chariho Regional School District will be destroying SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS on any student, born from January 1, 1998 to December 31, 1999 or who has graduated in the years of 2016 or 2017. In accordance with Federal Regulation (34CFR99.32(2); Rhode Island Record Retention Schedule, LG5.1.14; “Retain five years after student leaves the program or five years after student turns 18, whichever is longer.”
Please call the Special Education Office at 364-1160, prior to November 8, 2022, if you would like to receive a copy of your Special Education Records.
