Destruction of Records

Notice is hereby given that the Chariho Regional School District will be destroying STUDENT RECORD FILES (that are not part of the permanent record) on or after October 1, 2026. See the document below titled Certification of Records Destruction approvals 09 01 26 for detail. Retention and destruction of District records will be in accordance with the Local Government Public School Records Retention Schedule LG 5.1.1 (b), as published by the Rhode Island Office of the Secretary of State (http://www.sos.ri.gov).
Notice is hereby given that the Chariho Regional School District will be destroying STUDENT 504 RECORDS on or after October 1, 2026. See the document below titled Certification of Records Destruction Approvals 09 01 26 for detail. Retention and destruction of District records will be in accordance with the Local Government Public School Records Retention Schedule LG 5.1.40 (a), as published by the Rhode Island Office of the Secretary of State (http://www.sos.ri.gov).
Notice is hereby given that the Chariho Regional School District will be destroying SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS (that are not part of the permanent record) on or after October 1, 2026. See the document below titled Certification of Records Destruction Approvals 09 01 26 for detail. Retention and destruction of District records will be in accordance with the Local Government Public School Records Retention Schedule LG 5.8.32, as published by the Rhode Island Office of the Secretary of State (http://www.sos.ri.gov).
Notice is hereby given that the Chariho Regional School District will be destroying BUSINESS OFFICE DOCUMENTS on or after  October 1, 2026. See the document below titled Certification of Records Destruction form Approvals 09 01 26 for detail. Retention and destruction of District records will be in accordance with the Municipal Departments Records Retention Schedules, as published by the Rhode Island Office of the Secretary of State (http://www.sos.ri.gov).
